1987 Chevy Silverado wont start but will fire with starting

Truck used intertmitantly, last used jan 08, went to start battery needed jumping, (did that no problem) engine would crank with starting fluid and fire until vapored out, gas tank full with new gas, remove air filter and cover and pump gas pedal carb not getting gas into it, this carb had efi.

Is it the fuel pump, clogged or bad injectors, fuel relay, or?

Do you hear the fuel pump come On for 2 secs when key at run postion? If so check the fuel pressure if its under specifications- if its on specs -check for injection pulses listen to injector/s whether its clicking or use a noid light

What is it a TBI or MPFI type?

I did not listen for these as I was not sure what to look for, my biggest fear is tht it was something major and I didnt want to have it towed and give someone an "open check book" so to speak. I guess im baffled since it ran fine two months ago
