2003 S-10 Fan Clutch Bolt Removal

4 cyl. 2.2 L, 2003 S-10, with 103,000 miles. I need to replace the water pump and I have Chilton's repair manual for my vehicle, but the description to remove the fan clutch is vague. I need to know how to get the fan clutch bolt loose. Everytime I try the fan spins along with the pulley and water pump. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Take a hold of the blade. And use a box wrench. If need be loosen bolts while fan belt is still on!

To undo the one big bolt, the four bolts, or all the bolts? I already undid the four bolts, but can't get the big bolt.

If your trying to take the fann off, start pullin! I'm showing You this photo, I don't know what youve removed...but this shows 3 bolts secuing the fan...4 securing the blades to the clutch...
