When The ignition is on, no matter what position the light switch is set to, all of the lights outside the truck are on. The only time the switch works right is when the ignition is off. The other issue that is certain to be related is high/low beam operation. With high beams off, all four of the headlight bulbs are lit, the outside bulb on the driverside is bright, and the bulb closest to the grill is dim. The bulbs on the passenger side are both lit, but dim. When high beams are selected, the bulbs on the driver side switch, outside bulb becoming dim and grill side bulb becoming bright with once again no change of any sort on the passenger side. Could this be an issue with the Daytime Running Lamps/Automatic Exterior Lamp Control feature, and is there any way I could find out without having a comp. Diagnostic done?

Check the "grounds" for all 4 of your headlights to make sure they're good. A bad ground can cause 1/2 bright on the lights.
Also, were your headlights normally on when you were driving during the day?

Yes sir, my headlights are on normally during the day, but only my headlights. Until recently anyway. Now it's all exterior lights reguardless of the switch position. I have checked the grounds, but i'll mess with them again just to double check. Thank you for your input, and if you can think of anything else please let me know.

Do you have the factory installed off-road package with the lift kit, oversized tires and fog lamps? This makes a difference in the wiring diagrams.
Also, if you'll give me your email address, I'll send you some PDF files on diagrams. They're much clearer on PDF.
Under the left side of the dash, on the fuse block, there is a grounding relay for the headlights. I don't have a # for it but, it has 2 light grn/blk, 1 yellow and 1 black wire going to it.
