I have a 1999 Chevy S10 and having problems to turn off my heater inside the cab. The heater works great to all settings, but when you turn it off the it still vents heat thru all outlets. Also, I have an air conditioner attach and don't feel anything coming thru, but I speculate it could be out of freon. I do know engines, but can't understand this problem I am having.

Your blend door must be stuck in the heat position. Do you hear any change when you switch temp selector from hot to cold?

Last Year I hear a rubbing sound toward the blower then it quit. I didn't find out what made the noise for it didn't make it again. Just thinking on your comment I going to check it out and give you a update if that is the problem. That might be the problem.
