1997 Chevy S-10 ENGINE DOESN'T TURN OVER/NO LIGHTS

WHEN KEY TURNED OVER, NO SOUND. BATTERY NEW AS OF THIS SPRING. NOTHING AFTER BATTERY JUMPED. NO LIGHTS.

Not positve but sounds like the tumbler on the steering column where the key goes has gone bad. Thats the major fix! Make sure that the positive and negative wires that go to the battery are very tight. Try to move them side to side if they slip at all then they may need tightened and that could be the problem. Good Luck
