When I first started driving my car, the blinkers were fine, but then they started going out. Every once and a while they'd turn on and then they'd turn right back off. I just got a ticket for them, and I'm not quite sure what the problem is. My hazards work. My fuse is fine. I've been told it might be the blinker switch or the bulb. I have court in a few weeks, please help.

Check the turn signal lamp flasher which is located in the power distribution center (center of dash, below radio). If flasher is OK suspect faulty turn signal (multifunction) switch.
