I drove my 1996 S-10 through standing water the other day and it died. I havn't been able to get it started since. I have checked the battery cables (the ground was loose but I tightened it); I tried to jump it - but it doesn't even crank. I turn the key and everything dies (lights, radio, etc) - nothing, no click, nothing.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a connection problem. Check the wires at the starter motor then make sure battery cable ends are good
