Suddenly the turn signals on the console stopped working. Once I stopped saw that the signals on outside were not working either. Checked the fuses and changed all four bulbs, yet still not working. What's the next step?

Hello- Amanda

First, to better assist you I need to know if this is a S10 Pickup or Blazer and your specific engine. Example is it a 5.4L 6.0L 7.3L etc gas or DSL and what is the 8th digit of your VIN.

What do the lights do when you turn the emergency flashers on inside and out, front and back.

I don't think the flashers have worked for awhile. Haven't needed them, thankfully. This is a Chevy S10 Pickup. 5.4L engine(I think) Manual shift.
I'll await your reply.

Thank you,
Amanda

Hello Amanda

Thanks for the info I believe though your engine size is a 2.2L. There doesn't seem to be a 5.4L Also, you forgot to tell me what the 8th digit of your VIN was.is it a 4?

Okay, I believe your problem, since your flashers (great you haven't needed them) and your blinkers do not work, an you have checked all of your bulbs and fuse, it is the Turn Signal/Hazard Warning flasher control. I show a dealer part number of 10041074 for about $12.90. I have attached where it goes. It should unplug and just plug the new one in.

You can also get it at Auto Zone or O'Reilly's for about $9.00

The Turn Signal Lamps Flasher is located in the Power Distribution Center. The Power Distribution Center is located in the Instrument Panel below and in front of the Radio.
