O.K. Thank you for the information on the oil pump I submitted last week.
Now the pinion gear is out! [Problem] I put all new parts in the rear end. Seals, bearings, shims-The works.
Now I go to put it all together, and the last move eludes me! I torque the caps for the gears down and nothing will spin, but if I loosen them just a little it will spin, But if not torqued it will come apart, What the H##l am I missing. Thank you again.
Shade tree mech.
P.S. Yes I know I bought a lemon, But have to much in it to let it go.

If you installed everything new, including the gears then you have either a depth problem or the wrong shims on the wonrg side for the ring gear. If you don't hae the proper tools to set the rear end up correctly take it to a pro who does.
