I recently put in a new battery due to no start situtations Worked well until last night. Drove 15 miles turned car off came back 2 mins later to start and it wouldn't start. Automatic lights came on interior lights dash lights such as security light battery light brake light and check engine. Hooked battery cables and it started I have noticed several times while driving in the past the security light would come on but when you turn off and start it goes away. There are many ideas runnin throuogh my head to as why such as silinoid switch, igintion switch, alternator but the cars has started 5 times since this episode.

You could always try and check your fuel filter, may be clogged up and not pumping fuel into the engine. I used to drive it around town for 5 minutes and then come home and try to start it back up and it never would start, I noticed I didnt hear the sound of the fuel pump makes when I would turn the ignition.
