My transmission has been leaking ever since I had it serviced. Everytime I check the transmission fluid it never is low. I have tried putting in stop leak as recommended by my mechanic, but it has not helped. What could be causing this?

Hello,

First step would be to inspect and find where the leak is coming from.
Since you have motioned it has been leaking since you had it serviced, it could be from the transmission pan. As on a transmission service the transmission filter gets changed and in order to access the filter the transmission pan has to be removed.
If the when the pan got put back on there might have been an issue with the gasket and it is not providing proper seal around the pan.
If that is the case, then you will have to replace the gasket.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
