1998 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Automatic

My 1998 Monte Carlo's air conditioning doesn't blow cold air and I don't know what the problem is. The fan still blows hard but no cold air comes out. What could be the problem and how would I go about fixing it?

Take to shop have AC diagnostic test run then you can decide if you want to repair and what.
