My car stalled and will not start again. It turns over but never starts. It will start if I pour gas or starter fluid into the air intake manifold. It will continue to run until I stop adding it this way. Using a fuel pressure gage just turning the key to the on position but not cranking it read 48psi until the fuel pump turns off then it goes to 40psi. The only thing I can figure is my injectors are not injecting. Will the low fuel pressure cause the computer to not fire the injectors? What else could I be over looking? I have changed the fuel filter. Thank you for any help.

Hello, use a noid lite on the injector plug, crank engine, see if there is a pulse? B+ to the injector goes hot when you turn on the key, the computer switches the ground circuit. Can you check for codes? Possible theft system issue-- cam sensor?
