1986 Chevy Monte Carlo V8 Automatic 10000 miles

I have a 383 engine in my monte carlo ss and for some reason my car wont start sometimes. I checked the alternator and they said it was good. Something keeps killing my battery. Do I need a stronger alternator so I can get more amps?

Get the battery load tested if okay -Could be a short circuit eating up the battery overnite-battery drain test below
