No starter

This morning ( no warning or previous problems) went ot start car and it wont. Doenst have usual sound of the starter going bad ( but is has been awhile since I hdto deal with that) the lights come on, everyhting on dash works. But clock resets to 12:00 every time try and start after 3rd ime here the 'flutter; of what a bad starter sounds like.

where is the starter on this thing? Wher eis solenoid.

Starter and solenoid are one on lower right side engine down by oil pan. Battery is probably the fault with what you experienced with elect. In car.

Thanks for answer. It was the battery. No warnning. And the battery is only 3 months old. Oh well at least not 200 for new starter and the time to do it!
