2005 Chevy Malibu quivering lights

On interstate last week headlights quivered. Didn't think much about it til yesterday. When starting car wanted 2 start went click click click. When I retried it started find. Is alternator begiinning to fail?

Actually, at first I was thinking the voltage regulator was going bad, but when you said at first there was a click and then it started fine, that tells me there is a bad connection somewhere. I would start by checking the battery terminals. Make sure they are clean and tight. Also, check the ground to the engine block. Make sure it is clean and tight. Finally, check the cables for dammage, corrosion.
