1998 Chevy Malibu 1998 Malibu low coolant light

My 1998 Malibu has a low coolant light on all the time, the reservoir is full, and never gets past cool full. What can I do to fix this car? I don't see any obvious leaks on any hoses, and nothing sounds"funny." I know changing the water pump wil be vry costly. I am hoping there is some easy fix, or else I may be getting a new car.

Hi there,

I an not that familiar with the location of the low coolant sensor as I am not in the USA and don't see these cars, but. I am sure with what you have told me that the problem is just a faulty sensor, this can be check and tested quite simply I would find a local mechanic to do this for you.
