My hasnt run hot but the temo. Hand moves all the way over and I pull over until it cools.I just had a tension pulley put in. After the car gets hot and I take my foot off the gas it shuts off. It has to cool before it will crank back up what could that be and can I be repaired inexpensivly?

Sounds like two things. Check the coolant temperature sensor, that may fix the whole problem but if not then you need to check your crankshaft position sensor. The coolant sensor is a very simple task, its right in the block by the coolant inlet. Also the crank position sensor will be right next to the crankshaft in the timingchain cover, should be able to do both yourself. And I also recommend buying the parts from our discount auto parts center. Just click the link below and on the site menu click "discount autoparts" High Quality Parts for cheap prices, awesome site.
