My Lumina will not start, it turns over but won't start. I have a new battery, alternator, starter, and I even bought a new coil pack, but the wire that goes to the coil pack on the right side is melted totally. I have replaced all fuses that I can think of but it just won't start. Can you please help me figure it out. The firing order is correct. But I don't know why the wire to the coil pack on the right side would be melted, If you can please help me to fix this car so that I can get to work I would appreciate it. I am not sure on the mileage I will have to look at that.

Had a similiar prob with my Lumina, it turned out to be the crank sensor, which is located towards the bottom back of the engine.

OH and BTW - you better replace that melted wire too.

Good luck.
