2003 chevy impala.72,000 miles. What could be the reason that my automatic transmission jerks hard when shifting gears? Is this expensive to fix?

Have you found a solution yet? My '04 Impala with 77,000 miles does the same thing.

Have the computer checked for trouble codes, then let me know if there were any stored. Most likely you will have a P1811 or P0748.
