ACURA TL 2.5 1997 (90K MILES) - WHEN I'M ON TRAFFIC JAMS OR VEHICLE IS STATIONARY, IT'S REVOLUTIONS START GOING UP AND DOWN, LIKE TRYING TO SHUT DOWN. I'VE BEEN TOLD IT IS SOME KIND OF VALVE THAT MAY BE DIRTY. PERSONALLY, I'M NOT SURE. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT! THANKS.

For valve ih haynes manuali Mark. It either fsat idle control valve( you can chek that with ohm eter)or vacum leak. You can find specs for valve in Haynes manual. Vacum leak test better do with smoke test. It ll pinpoint you exactly where the leak is.
