Acura Integra stalling

My car(1990 Acura Integra RS) was running fine when the engine just shuts off and rpm gauge fell from 3000 rpm to 0. It happened before and it started fine. I tried starting it this time and it would not start. After not touching it for several hours I tried starting it once again but it wouldn't.I was thinking that I flooded it. Now I don't know what happened when the engine just shuts off. Can somebody help me

Check your distributor, remove the distributor cap to inspect for rust color powder. If present replace the distributor with new.
