My car shut off while driving. First it made a "clak, clak" noise, then it turned off. I tried to started back up but it only made a "tack" noise, but lights and radio still had power. What do you think it is?

Will the engine turn over at all? Is there any warning lights on?

No, it didnot turn over just made a single tac noise. Yes, it had a check engine light on after. I some how turned it on right now but it was rattleling like a old diesel truck, but I turned it off becouse the motor was shaking alot.

At this point I would suggest getting it to your local repair shop. Sounds like there is something internal in the engine that went bad
