2000 chev impala. Will not stay running. Check engine light does not come on. Will start in am and once car warms up may cut off or when you cut it off it will not start back up unless you let it sit for awhile. We have replaced fuel pump, mass air and checked every sensor. If you hold down the gas it wants to start but surges and then cuts off. We also have changed coils plugs and wires. Very lost on this. Took it several shops and know one can find the prroblem. Please I need help thanks bob

Hi
Has EGR been ruled out as a fault causing large vacuum leak? Also even if no light on have scanner hooked up to see if it can communicate with PCM

Egr has been checked, we put a new one on and that did not fix prob. Been reading your form on impalas and could it be the crank positioing sensor. When the car is running comp shows all cyl missing.

No codes show up. Tried crank position sensor, cleaned idle air control valve. Checked check valve by fuel pump. No one seams to be able to find problem.

What type of scanner are you using? Engine 3.4 or 3.8?
When it dies have you checked for spark? Fuel pressure?
Has anybody considered the PCM?
