2005 Chevy Impala Electrical Problems

My gages (temperature, odometer) are not working properly. The blinker on the passenger side doesn't work sometimes. And, I feel like the bass and treble of the stereo system are not working properly.

Have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes. You may have a problem in the bcm causing your concerns. Let me know what you find, and ill see what I can do to help

I got the car diagnosed at Auto Tech here in Albuquerque and they said it was a turn signal switch (price quote 570.60) and and instrument cluster (373.22). The total cost and labor will be $1243.70. That price seems outrageous to me. Do you have any suggestions?
