2004 Chevy Impala Car won't always start.

My car cranks, but won't turn over. It only turns over if I have the gas pedal pressed down. It then has a weak idle until I drive it. What could be the problem?

For a start test the coolant temperature sensor and check the fuel pressure-then get back

Also check for a leaky fuel pressure regulator. This can also cause a hard start
