Engine Cooling problem
2002 Chevy Impala Front Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

O.K my car has been running hot, and making a crazy noises and somtimes shake. Well the water pump was replaced and the mechanic says I need to get the oil changed immediately because there was water in the oil. Is it a more serious condition going on or does the oil needs to be changed immediately before a more serious issue occurs?

You shouldn't have water in your oil AT ALL!
If the car is being overheating, you probably blew a gasket (headgasket) which explain why you have water in your oil.

If there's water in your crankcase and you drive the car, you can kiss your engine goodbye.

Sorry, but it does sound like a more serious condition and simply changing your oil won't fix anything if you did blow a gasket.
I'm surprised your mechanic didn't mention anything about that; like I said you should not find coolant in your oil.
