2002 Chevy Impala Power Window

My driver side power window will go down fine but will only come up half way then stops. I had the problem occur afer I took it in for service (exhaust) and was told that maybe the track was "damaged" while the car was placed on the lift. Regardless, is this something I can fix myself?

Window might just be off track. If you take off the door panel (screws hiding everywhere) you can take a look. After you have all the screws out ther will be one more, find it then lift up and pull out. You door handle and power locks/window buttons will have wires long enough for you to move the cover a little. Disconect everything move the panel around to clear door handle and take completly off. Next there will be a sheet of plastic. Remove (you can duct tape it back) you will see your window and can visualy inspect the track. If it is off, every so carefully put it back on. Ther may be some plastic guides that are broke and you can get them from advanced
