Ever so often it just take a spell and will not crank, some times you could just get out and kick the tires and get bacck in and it will crank right up.
I don't know how many times my wife would call me and say it will not start and I go to where she is and 98% of the time I can get in and it will crank right up, I did take it to a Chevy dlr. The last time and just like I thought they could not locate the problem but charged me hundred bucks any way.

Well could be dead spot in starter armeture, solenoid, neutral safty switch or ignition switch. When you say it won't crank mean no clicking, humming just silence?Do dash gagues and lights come on?

You ask in your answer ig there was any clicking when trying to crank, no there is none. When you first turn the key dash lights come on, then turn further to crank all lights go off then nothing, I mean notta, sorry I missed your answer before, thank you.

I believe it is worn starter bushings and armeture grounds out when it is inrifht spot. Kinda like a roullet wheel the armeture.
