When I turn the key on everything lights up, there is a fairly loud click and everything goes black. Waiting for a while and the same thing happens. At first the dash lights up etc then zap it is all gone. This is without ever turning the key to crank the engine. This all started when I accidentally did a double tap on startup and cranked the engine for a moment. When everything goes black that includes the inside lights, headlights, dashboard lights, etc. Battery shows full charge and is fairly new.

I cannot do your June 9 post (7:11 am) None of my fuses are shown as numbers. They all have names. I tested all the 10 amp fuses and they were all OK. The largest fuse I can find are 30 amps in the fuse panel. My model has no listing of "deterrent" relay, but does have a VATS system. It has a 15 amp fuse in the auxillary fuse panel which tested OK. I also tested all three of the 30 amp fuses and they were OK. The battery is good at 12 volts and it also reads 12 volts at the jump start behind the battery. Can I get a reading at the main fuse panel? Have not run any other tests. My main fuse panel is on the passenger side with an access port to the fuses on the outboard end of the Instrument panel. The auxilliary fuses are in the center of the I.P. Sorry to be such a PITA!
