1987 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

purchased an 87 vett without heads on 5.7 tpi engine, putting it all back together and noticed dash lights RPM & MPH indicator not working. Center dash panel/instruments are ok when I turn the key, but behind the steering wheel wont light up. Again I purchased it with incomplete engine. Just wondering if anything under hood may have been overlooked or disconnected. Or would issue need to be looked at under dash?

I have a 77 that I recently replaced all the dash lights. They are a pain to get to! Prolly just bad bulbs or the bubs came out of the hole behind the gauges. Ur prolly gunna have to take it apart. Good luck!
