Hi, from prolonged storage, engagement of clutch does not release clutch. This has happened at least twice before (over the past 25 years) and I was always able to free it by rocking the car. This time I cannot free it, I assume flywheel is stuck to disk. Before layup, drivetrain worked perfectly. I don't want to have to take drivetrain apart to free clutch unless absolutely necessary. Any safe way to free it? Engine is 350 CID, 350 HP, Muncie 4 speed. Thanks, Art

This has happened to my Volare too. I stick it in neutral, warm the engine up, then stop the engine so I can stick it in gear. It starts easily while the car moves ahead slowly. Usually, if I hold the clutch pedal down, the disc will break free just from driving around the yard, but I did have to drive it down the highway once. By feathering the gas pedal, it is pretty easy to shift gears without needing the clutch. The heat and vibration will cause the disc to break free.
