How to adjust the idle on a 98 Cheyenne

Tried registering my vehicle but it didnt pass. Said idle was too high and 5th cylinder was misfiring. How do ya adjust the idle on this vehicle? Work on fixing this 1st then mess with that misfire. Tks

High idle could be an accelerator cable binding or the throttle plate is coked-up. The computer does the adjustment by commanding the IACV also check this.

PO305 try checking the plug/wire on it, injector, and compression for that cylinder-could also be a vacuum leak/coil problem.
