What's up? My car's horn does not work. All fuses are good except that I do not know where the horn relay is located. Does anyone know where it is located?

Hi,

The relay is taped to the main loom into the rear of the fuse box under L/H/dash. Here is a guide and some guides (below) to help you get the problem fixed.

The Horn Relay is located in the Convenience Center. The Convenience Center is located at the right front of the passenger compartment.

The horn relay is built into the Convenience Center. I think you have to replace the hole unit....

Here is a picture of it...(Right Front,Under Dash)

Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I took my 1997 Chevy Cavalier RS Coupe to a mechicanic and they told me I needed to replace my horn relay however they told me they couldn't find it. I've been told by so many places that they can't find my horn relay that I have given up! I never had a manual for it I bought it used. I need to get my car inspected but it won't pass without a horn. This problem has gotten outta hand. Where is the relay switch at?

That link is for the owners manual, it's free, you just have to fill out their info. The owners manual doesn't give the location of the horn relay, at least I didn't see it.

I looked at a database for the location of the relay, it's supposed to be in the convenience center. The convenience center is usually located under the dash. If it isn't there, I don't know.

I just wanted to add, that wire that goes into the steering column for the horn, is just a ground.
