Hi everybody I highly appreciate any help
, here is the problem:
today when I open the hood on Chevrolet cavalier 2004 I saw this little hose (as shown on the picture below)unhooked between air intake and engine, it was all greasy and some yellow liquid was leaking from there, I tried to put it back but its still loose and not really in place.

my questions are:
-what is the name of that part
-its not damaged just unhooked, im a gonna be able to put it back
-should I be concerned about that, and what kind of problems can that cause
-and its really stiff, how can I replace that or should I just seek mechanics help
by the way, its started to smell like gasoline in garage and inside the car when heat /ac is on thanks in advance

First of all have fun with the 2.4L my brother had a cavalier with the 2.4 and his water pump went out and we riped the whole top half of the motor off and still couldnt get to it, so it costed him $800 at the shop, but anyways I cant see it very well, but it looks like a vacume line for your pvc valve, as for the yellow fluid I have no clue. Id check into what the fluid is, but as far as the hose as long as its not cracked and it fits tight id put it back. I know of no yellow fluid that a car uses sorry. Hope it helps
