2001 Chevy Cavalier 93000 miles

i bought a heater that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Well it blew the fuse and it calls for a 10amp but the heater is a 20amp. Question is Can I put a 20 amp fuse into the 10amp slot and us ethe heater? Thanks

What kind of heater? I can't tell you that is safe. Usually if I'm wiring auxillary electrical for some reason, I come off the positive battery battery post and use inline fuse. I have seen auxlilary electrical outlets, don't know the amp rating.
