I am attempting to put a new radio in my car, but something with the wires to connect the new radio to the car is different. It says it needs to be a 12V DC. And apparently I don't have that in my car. Is there anything I can do about it, or was this all a waste?

But it's not the same size as what the radio needs. The radio needs a 12 volt dc and it doesn't fit with what is in the back of the radio area.

There are different sized radios available if you biught this then take it back to one that fits. Also there are adapters available.
