1999 Chevy Cavalier Acceleration

Hi - When gearing down to stop, once I take my foot off the clutch and break, the car accelerates on its own. Any idea what could be causing this?

First thing to do is to check all vacuum lines for any leaks.

Could also be a bad IAC. You can remove it and clean the pintle and the throttle body cavity where it fits into.
