1998 Chevy Cavalier Front Wheel Drive Manual 101000 miles

I have a 1998 Cavalier, it has a 2.4L and I know that my water pump is bad.I have been quoted $1000.00 to replace it. I would like to do it myself but I hear that it's quite the job. I just need detailed instructions on how to do the job! Help!

On a job like this I would highly suggest having a professional do it. If you cant afford it I would suggest getting a repair manual. There is way to much to explain here. If your not sure how to do it, DONT. You can cause other damage with this style of engine
