1996 Chevy Cavalier wont run unless you spray starting flui

The person I got this car from sprayed starting fluid to this car now it will not run unless you spray it any ideas how to make it run with out spraying it it runs great and will start all day after you spray it 1 time?

Sounds to me that your fuel pressure is being bled off. This is usually caused by a bad fuel pressure regulator.
