I HAVE A 1996 CHEVY CAVALIER AND RAN PERFECT
THEN 2 DAYS AGO IT BACKFIRED AND STARTED MISSING THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON I HAD THE CODE CHECKED IT SAID MISSFIRE CYLINDER ONE SO I BOUGHT NEW SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES AND INSTALLED AND NOW IT STILL MISFIRES ANY SUGGESTIONS? 2.2 ENGINE

Take a screw driver and tap on the number1 injector. If that doesnt work, I would get a noid light and see if you have injector pulse. Do you have spark at the cylinder and is the firing order correct
