What type of engine? Distributor? Is it 2.3L etc?

OK, check for cracks or hardness of the plug wires and also make certain they are connected good at both the coil pack and the plugs. If no spark is even getting to the wires than the coil pack may be dead.

If all is good then yes the ECM (engine control module) may be bad, that is the last to test though.
