Won't fire

I have an 89 Chevy Camaro with over 100,000 miles (I think). It's been sitting for 6-7 months. The problem was the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I was told it was the alternator. I replaced it but now it won't fire. There's a good charge and I can smell fuel when I try to turn it. I'm going to check the spark plugs as soon as I get the right tools, but other than that, what can it be? The starter, fuel pump? Please help me because I'm a female and alot of people take advantage of that and tell me it's something I'd have to pay for. I'm not the best mechanic but I can still fix a lot! Thanks!

Go to the closet get a metal cloth hanger untwist it disconnect a plug wire stick it in-get your rubber gloves from the kitchen use it to hold the hanger and ground it over to the engine while someone cranks it over-do you have spark? No spark its useless to remove the plugs, you have to figure out why you're missing the spark. When you get the spark then you can remove and clean or replace the plugs.

Smelling the fuel is a good indication that when we get spark it will combust for a few secs or might continue to run who knows.

Taking advantage of people is a bad idea. Bcuz if your turn comes up its probably gonna be worst.
