1994 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 94 camaro it had the v6 motor but we just recently put in a v8 (LT1) the car will start up but it won't idle and when we do start it the smell of gas is really strong which I would think that the motor is getting too much fuel. The v6 fuel pump is still on the car but i'm wondering if that could be part of the problem. But then when you think about it your like how would a v6 fuel pump send too much fuel to a 8 cylinder motor? I really don't know at this point I'm just tryin to get a head start. If you could help you have my e-mail or you can call 225-777-4080

The fuel pump could cause a problem, but I have to ask if you changed the computer. Also, have you checked fuel pressure? It could have a bad fuel regulator allowing too much pressure to build.

Let me know.
