Would a inline fuel filter on a 2002 comaro make the fuel pump quite after runing for about 20 min.

If you have just changed the fuel filter it souds like either the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator is going out. You will need to check it with a fuel pressure gauge.

Classic overheating fuel pump. Monitor the pressure when the problem happens.
