i got a 89 camaro it won't start up unless you spray starting fuild in the tbi system but then you have to keep push ing gas petal to keep it runing engine is a 305 when I got car I was told the fuel pump was bad but the injectors spary fuel when you crank it

Try changing the fuel filter first and see if it helps. If this is port fuel then you need at least40p.S.I. For it to run. After you change teh fuel filter check the pressure at the pressure port on the fuel rail. If it's not the pressure i'c e given, then replace the fuel pump. Quit using the starting fluid it drys the walls on the cylinder and takes the lube away. Not good at all.
