i have a bad fuel pump I believe. I read online that my car shuts off while driving do to a fuel problem. I have changed my fuel filter and it helped alot but it still shutoff off on me. I do kno the the carburator was clogged and I used fuel injector cleaner to clean it out. It worked some but I think it still my be clogged. My main question is can a fuel pump on my 91 camaro rs be replaced with another model car or jus camaros?

It is best to replace the fuel pump with a new one but if you are going to go used it needs to be one from a camaro or similar car or truck with the same engine setup as you have.

Also if the carb was cloged up you may need to pull it off and do a through cleaning.
