Electrical problem
2002 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 170000 miles

2002 blazer. Can anyone tell me where the oil pressure switch/sending unit is? Having fuel pump issues and trying to find out if it's killing the power to the fuel pump.
Thanks

Engine oil pressure (EOP) sensor is on the top rear of the engine, near the distributor for the 4.3L motor.

Thanks, I think I see it. Does it have just a two prong plug-in and sit vertically on the intake manifold? Also, security light flashing. What do do about that too?

If security light is flashing than that is what is killing power to the fuel pump, not the oil pressure sensor. Try using a spare key to see if that helps.

Well. Ok but is it the component that I was describing? You can read my whole problem 5 problems down on the forum page entitled 2002 chevy blazer fuel pump.
I was just trying to keep this question short.
Thanks

Sorry, my mistake. I found it with the help of your diagram. Had to pull the distributor to get at it.
Thanks
