Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 87K miles

I turn the iginition and it won't fire. The tank is full and the battery fully charged. It turns over like it is ready to fire but won't fire. Just the chug-chug-chug of me burning the starter out.

It acts like it is out of gas, but the tank is full.

Could it be fuel injector, or etc? This engine seems pretty accessable. I'd rather try a simple replacement rather than tow.

Can you check for codes? Have you done any testing? Hope for the best, those spider fuel systems are known for problems. Chek for spark at the plugs first, maybe you'll get lucky. If you have spark everywhere, then check fuel pressure.

You might try spraying a little starter fluid past the throttle valve, see if the vehicle will start, or try. There could be safety issues using a flammable spray, that is your responsibility.
