2001 Chevy Blazer engine will not start unless primed

My 2001 4.3 blazer turns over ok but will not start, acts like it wants to but will start right up if I prime it,
I did check the fuel press (60+psi and holds) and I did replace the fuel filter and the fuel press regulator with on change. It has a new ign coil and cap and rotor. Can you give me any id?

No the light has never gone on. After reading some of the others Im sure the fuel pump needs replace.
And If I but the battery charger on fast charge it will start (I mite of had the charger on win I check the fuel press give n me a higher reading)better and start right up if I prime it with carb cleaner.
